Embedded Scores

In our next release, our customers will be able to take advantage of our new Embedded Scores feature. Embedded Scores allow you to offer dynamic textual insights to your end users. If you’re trying to tell stories with your ServiceNow data, Embedded Scores will become one of your best friends. Below are a few highlights of how these are going to help:

Customer Experience

As always, customer experience should be at the forefront of your mind when implementing a BI initiative. The whole point of taking on a data visualization project is to make your customers’, or end users’, decision making process easier. Oftentimes the best way to do this is to highlight key metrics that you know will be meaningful to these customers. Embedded Scores will help you solidify the customer experience you offer by letting you provide intelligent annotations alongside your visualizations. Making these metrics more accessible will lead to less reporting friction which will lead to happier customers.

Time Saving

It’s a pretty common practice to take time before a presentation to add in key notes that help you tell your story. Embedded Scores will help you set up note templates that will automatically update with current data. By automating these notes, you will save on prep time which will let you do more important work.

Automated Intelligence

Embedded Scores will let you build intelligence into your textual scores. Want to add conditional score coloring? Embedded Scores can do that. Want a score to only show up based on certain criteria? Embedded Scores can do that too. By taking advantage of VividCharts Embedded Scores you can offer your customers more intelligent and accessible analytics.

In summary, I’d like to call out that Embedded Scores was not our idea. We had been asked by multiple customers if this was a possibility, so we simply decided to build it out. If you’d like to learn more or see these in action, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
